Xiaomi has always kept us updated with the latest technology. If we talk about fitness trackers, mi fans have got some of the best fitness trackers at an affordable price. Recently Xiaomi launched Mi Band 3i, which is a successor to Mi Band Hrx edition, on November 21. This year MI band 4 was also launched in India, which is available at the price range of Rs 2,500 in India, which makes is one of the cheapest fitness trackers available in India. Xiaomi has never disappointed its users in terms of performance and technology. Let’s see what we got this time with this new Mi Band 3i.
The first and foremost thing to bring to consideration is the heart rate sensor. Sorry to say that Mi Band 3i lacks a heart rate sensor, and this is a disappointment for mi fans. All of us wanted Xiaomi to add a heart rate sensor with the successor Mi Band HRX, but we are not getting one with this version. The band resembles the Mi Band 3 in terms of design and has similar features except for the heart rate sensor.
You can get Mi Band in India at a price of Rs 1,299. The band features an AMOLED display of size 0.78” with a display resolution of 129×80. The color of the text will be monochromatic white. The band features 3 axis accelerometer sensor BT4.2 BLE connectivity. Mi Band 3i has a capacitive touch panel. If we talk about the build quality of the band, the band has a polycarbonate body with anti-fingerprint coating, and UV harden coating. Coming to strap, we get a standard strap that we get with other versions of the Mi Band. Xiaomi has to work on their quality of straps because I personally don’t recommend using those straps as they wear out too within one or two months of the use.
Talking about the battery, we get 110mah battery. It offers a battery backup of about 20 days with regular usage. The standard 2x pogo pin method is used for charging the device.
Talking about other specs, the band is waterproof up to 5ATM level. You get the weather forecast for up to 3 days from the present day. We have an activity tracker that can tell steps walked, distance covered, calories burned, and the quality of your sleep, which can be synced to the Mi Fit app. We got standard notification alerts, alarms, find the band, event reminder, app notification, call rejection, instant message display, phone locator, and unlock the phone option with this device. You can see the same features in Mi Band 3, and the only difference is the heart rate sensor.
This isn’t a review guys; it was only a discussion about the specs you got with the device and a small comparison between Mi Band 3 and Mi band 3i
If the heart rate sensor isn’t a great issue for you can prefer going for the Mi Band 3i. If you are willing to pay some extra amount, then you can go for Mi Band 3 or Mi Band 4.
